  5. Thanks a lot Raza for the install steps. The current sizing guide of BI 4.0 is not clear. In XI R2 we had a configuration of two front end apache/ Tomcat servers, Two Intelligence Tiers boxes for CMS, FRS services (4 CPU each total 8 CPUs), Crystal Cache Service, Two Processing Tier boxes for Webi, Crystal (4 CPU each - total 8 CPU). So total CPUs based licenses we had was 16. In XI 4.0 how we can split the services / servers without going over the range of 16 CPU based license. Any thoughts are appreciated. email : sgautam04@gmail.com

  13. Dear All,

I have noticed that many people asking the custom installation guide / custom administration guide, you may find the custom guide at help.sap.com named "xi4_bip_install_win_en" and for custom administration "xi4_bip_admin_en". These stand for both Edge and Enterprise editions.

    1. First, Please don't install 2 BO versions on same machine, its major cause of many idiotic problems.

Install client tools on a 64 bit platform. Please re-start file repository servers and make sure setting is correct.

http://help.sap.com/bobi/ ->> see guides relevant to your problem.

      Thanks !
